The Operation & Maintenance of the storage equipment is the responsibility of the owner of the equipment.
The following is a guideline to operation and maintenance:

Refer to manufacturer’s drawing and technical data for maximum safe working loads
Do not alter the structure without either -
- Checking the effects against manufacturer’s technical data; or
- Obtaining necessary approval from manufacturer
Instruct operators on the correct usage of unit load handling equipment

NOTE: Damage due to impact can seriously impair safety

Conduct regular inspections to check for –
- Correct application and use;
- Loads do not exceed safe working load; and
- Damage due to impact
